Cookie Policy
This page describes the cookies used on ramscount.co.za.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Some are required for the site to work. Others are optional and only load after you choose them on the cookie banner.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies
These run core functions: page security tokens (CSRF), the contact-form session, and the admin login session. They do not require a marketing opt-in.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 (or the same measurement through Google Tag Manager) loads only after you choose Analytics or Accept ads & analytics. It is not loaded if you choose Essential only, and it is not loaded until a Google Analytics or Tag Manager ID is saved in site settings.
Advertising cookies
Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags load only after you choose Accept ads & analytics. These help measure ad campaigns and may use advertising cookies (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization). If you refuse ads cookies, we still send Google Consent Mode so conversions can be modelled without storing ads cookies.
Google Consent Mode
The site sends Google Consent Mode v2 signals. Until you accept, analytics and ads storage are denied. Your choice is stored in this browser as rc_cookie (local storage), not as a tracking cookie.
Your choice
Use the cookie banner, or the Cookie settings link in the footer, to change your choice. You can also block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop the contact form or admin login from working.
